PUMPKIN SCONES
| 50g butter |
4 tsp baking powder |
| ½ cup sugar |
1 cup cooked, mashed pumpkin |
| 1 egg, beaten |
¾ cup milk |
| 2 cups flour |

Pre heat oven to 200 deg Celsius.
- Sift dry ingredients. Add sugar. Rub in butter.
- Add cooked, mashed pumpkin and beaten egg.
- Pour milk in a little at a time, mixing until dough is firm and not sloppy.
- Pat out on a floured board or bench, and cut into squares.
- Place on a cold, greased oven tray and bake at 200 deg Celsius for about 10 minutes.
