Quick Wholemeal Bread
| 1 Tbs Honey |
4 cups white flour |
| 2 cups boiling water |
4 cups wholemeal flour |
| 2 cups cold milk |
1 Tbs wheatgerm |
| 1 Tbs dried yeast |
3 tsp salt |
- Melt honey in boiling water
- Add cold milk and sprinkle yeast over top. Leave to bubble
- Mix dry ingredients in another bowl
- Add the liquids to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Put into 2 large loaf tins and one small one if necessary
- Place in a cold oven and turn it to 100 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, then turn it to 190 degrees Celsius for a further 1 hour
- Take out and leave 5 – 10 minutes before turning out
