Beef Schnitzel Stir Fry
| 2 tsp crushed garlic |
300g beef schnitzel, chicken, pork or fish |
| 1 Tbs oil |
|
Vegetables as desired
Onion, carrots, cabbage, pepper, courgette, broccoli, cauliflower
Rice or Noodles
Marinade
| 2Tbs soy sauce |
1tsp cornflour |
| 2tsp brown sugar |
|
Sauce
| ˝ cup water |
1 Tbs soy sauce |
| 1Tbs cornflour |

- Make Marinade by mixing together soy sauce, brown sugar and cornflour.
- Slice meat into strips.
- Spoon marinade onto meat and soak. Place marinated meat in the fridge for half an hour while preparing vegetables.
- Chop the onion and other selected vegetables into small pieces.
- Heat oil in frypan or wok. Add onion, cook for 1 minute then add garlic and sauté gently for 1 minute.
- Add meat and marinade. Stir constantly over heat for 3-5 minutes until cooked.
- Add vegetables and cook a further 3-5 minutes.
- Make sauce by mixing water with second measure of soy sauce and cornflour.
- Add sauce mix to the pan, stirring constantly until sauce boils and thickens.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
